Legacy Planning
What: Legacy Planning combines the strategy of planning your care and transfer of your assets with values and wisdom you'd like to pass on to your loved ones. Through Legacy Planning, you can plan for what will happen to your business should something happen to you. You also have the power to say who takes care of you, how you want to be cared for and what happens to your assets. If you have young children, you will also get to say who cares for them. The intention behind this planning is to make your wishes known. But also, when you set things in place, it can bring peace of mind to your business partners and family, removing any doubt they may have about making a decision out of alignment with your values and beliefs.
Who: Legacy Planning is for everyone. If you have a business, spouse or partner, children and/or pets, then it is important to provide some guidance for your what you like to happen and how loved ones can memorialize your wishes.
How: First, we will discuss your wishes and answer any questions. Then, we'll come up with a plan. Once I have a clear picture of you, what you would like and the legacy you would like to leave, I will draft your documents. Drafts are sent to you for review, and once approved, we will meet in person to sign and witness the documents.
